MAXWELL, a renowned Australian dried fruits brand, produces items such as almonds, raisins, and dried jujubes. The company faced challenges in managing an end-to-end packaging process efficiently while minimizing manual handling to reduce contamination risks.

Solution :

Utien Pack provided Rigid Bottom Film Thermoforming Packaging Machine (DZL-Y) featuring:

• Customized round shape mold design.

• Rigid bottom film with 422mm width.

• Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) for almonds and dried fruits.

• Production line solution with automatic multi-head weighing, and auto loading.

• Two sets of auto weighing systems to support high packaging speeds.

Results:

The new packaging solution met all of Maxwell expectations:

• Increased daily packaging capacity by automating weighing and loading of light, irregular products like raisins and almonds.
